LearningArms VR
A downloadable education robotics
This project, originally developed as a thesis, is now presented as an immersive learning resource for the academic community. LearnArms VR transforms technical education by allowing the exploration of the fundamentals of robotics and physics in a safe and controlled environment.
Designed specifically for Meta Quest 2, the simulator uses physics-based interactions to facilitate the study of complex mechanical systems and industrial programming in a 3D-aware environment. It includes content related to the following areas:
- Robotic Arms
- Rotary Motion
- Linear Displacement
- Kinematics
- Types of Kinematics
As this is a university project, development was done exclusively in Spanish, the language of our community. We regret that an English version is not available.

Install instructions
1. Enable **Developer Mode** on your Meta Quest via the Meta Horizon mobile app.
2. Download the `LearningArms_v1.0_main.apk` file
3. Connect your Quest to your PC via USB.
4. Use [SideQuest](https://sidequestvr.com/setup-howto) or the Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) to install the `.apk` file into your headset.
5. In your Quest, go to the App Library, filter by "Unknown Sources", and launch **LearnArms VR**.
